Nourishing Resilience: Mindfulness Practices for Real Life

Nourishing Resilience: Mindfulness Practices for Real Life NovemberNov 17 2023 05:30pm - DecemberDec 19 2023 06:30pm

Workshops

Nourishing Resilience is a 5-week mindfulness program open to anyone interested in cultivating a personal practice of meditation that is aimed at supporting them in moving through life with greater self-awareness, compassion and ease.

In this program, we will draw on insights from the Buddhist tradition and modern understandings of neuroscience and nervous system health. In particular, we will explore the Buddhist concept of the Four Immeasurables, or the Brahma-Vihara, as states of being that support inner resilience and well-being.

We will explore a variety of meditation techniques centring around the practices of embodied presence, self-compassion, and loving-kindness, all of which can help us to nourish resilience from within.
